Superintendent C.L. Smith - Pastor

Pastor Clinton Leo Smith is a native of Melbourne, Florida but adopted Southern California as his home when his family moved here in 1977. He served under Pastor Jesse L. Malone of  Love Sanctuary C.O.G.I.C and at the age of 22, the Lord called Pastor Smith to ministry where he was ordained as an Elder under Bishop Charles E. Blake.

Pastor Smith has served in many capacities, such as Youth Pastor of True Church C.O.G.I.C., Assistant Pastor of the New Hope C.O.G.I.C. and Co-Pastor of Brighter Days Ministry.  At the age of 33 he became a pastor and in September of 1997 Pastor Smith birthed Mountain Top Worship Center. In May of 2004, with the retirement of his mentor, Supt. Jesse Malone, Pastor Smith was appointed as pastor of Love Sanctuary C.O.G.I.C. With the blessed union of Mountain Top Worship Center and Love Sanctuary, Pastor Smith returned to the church that played an integral role in shaping his ministerial life. In January 2017 Pastor Smith was installed as Superintendent of the Love and Unity District by Bishop Joe L. Ealy, Prelate of the First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Southern California.

In addition to his ministerial duties, Pastor Smith challenged God and became a business owner by 29, where is has won numerous business awards and attained other achievements of which he is very proud, including his Associates Degree in Computer Sciences. He and his wife LaTosha Smith have been married for 32 years and from this God ordained union they have been blessed with two daughters, Natosha Prince and Clanesha Smith, a son-in law, Jermaine Prince and three grandchildren.

Superintendent Smith & First Lady LaTosha Smith continue in their ministries, preaching the Word of God and ministering to His people in His name.
